Food and drinks are exceptional and the fantastic service is an added bonus. You can sit out on the balcony on a good day or indoors if it’s slightly windy. Parking at the front only if you’re lucky and it can get pretty tight. Best is to park along the neighbouring streets and add up your step counts. ”

“ Finally got the chance to check out Moreno Café this weekend. It’s a Filipino fusion spot. The place is really clean, cozy and super family friendly – perfect if you’re bringing kids along. The staff are also really warm and welcoming. It’s a pretty popular café (lots of YouTuber have recommended it), so I was curious to try. Personally, I think the food is tasty, though of course it depends on your own preferences. Prices are fair, portions are generous and overall I left feeling very happy with the experience. ”

Even the head chef checks in on guests, which adds a thoughtful, personal touch. They’re also very gracious when it comes to feedback, which I really appreciate. I love their coffee and drinks. My favourite has to be the calamansi iced tea. The food is fantastic. I really enjoy how they offer modern or creative takes on Filipino classics. I’ll admit, I was a bit unsure at first, but then I remind myself that there are over 7,000 islands in the Philippines, so of course there are many delicious variations of our dishes. And here, they never disappoint. The servings are generous and well worth the price. The café itself is charming, with beautiful interiors and a lovely ambience. I especially like how it features design elements that feel like a nod to a traditional Filipino kitchen and dining space. ”

“ I had a really special experience at Moreno Cafe, especially during this morning’s brunch (17.7.25). I ordered cornbread with spam and a medium flat white. The coffee was served first, followed by the cornbread a little later. The food was perfect for brunch delicious and satisfying! However, the coffee was a bit lukewarm, maybe because it was served first. I mentioned it to the staff, and even though I had nearly finished the cup, they kindly offered to make a fresh one for me. Throughout my visit, both the male and female staff members checked in with me from time to time and made me feel genuinely cared for. Their kindness and attentiveness truly stood out, and I’m very grateful for the experience. I highly recommend them such a wonderful team and a lovely cafe! ”
